1. OVERVIEW

These Terms of Service govern all work carried out by The Pixel Edit ("we", "us") for any client ("you") who submits an order via thepixeledit.com or by direct contact.

By submitting files or making a payment you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms in full.

2. OUR SERVICES

We provide professional photo editing and retouching services including but not limited to:

  • Portrait Retouching
  • Wedding & Event Editing
  • Newborn Photo Retouching
  • Product Photo Editing
  • Ghost Mannequin Editing
  • Background Removal
  • Real Estate & Interior Editing

All services are carried out remotely. There is no in-person component to our work.

3. PLACING AN ORDER

To place an order you must:

  • Contact us via our contact form or email
  • Clearly describe your requirements, preferred style and any specific instructions
  • Share your files via Google Drive, WeTransfer, Dropbox, Mega or any file sharing platform
  • Confirm the scope, turnaround and price before work begins

Work will not begin until the scope of the order has been confirmed by both parties and the deposit or full payment has been received.

4. PRICING & PAYMENT

  • All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise agreed
  • Payment is required 50% upfront before work begins and 50% upon delivery of final edited files
  • For smaller orders under $30 full payment upfront may be required
  • We accept payment via PayPal, Wise, bank transfer or any method agreed at time of order
  • Prices quoted are valid for 7 days from the date of the quote
  • We reserve the right to revise pricing for future orders

5. TURNAROUND TIME

  • Standard turnaround: 24–48 hours from the time files and payment are received
  • Rush Delivery: 12-hour turnaround available at an additional charge
  • Turnaround times may vary for large batches — agreed in writing beforehand
  • We are not liable for delays caused by incomplete files, unclear instructions or late payment

6. REVISIONS

  • Every order includes 2 rounds of free revisions
  • A revision request must be submitted within 5 days of receiving your edited files
  • Revisions cover adjustments to the original brief — they do not cover new requirements or a change in direction
  • Additional revision rounds beyond the 2 included are available at an extra charge
  • After 5 days of no response the order is considered complete and closed

7. FILE DELIVERY

  • Final edited files are delivered via Google Drive, WeTransfer, Dropbox, Mega or your preferred platform
  • Full resolution final files are only delivered after payment is complete
  • We may deliver a low-resolution or watermarked preview prior to final payment
  • Download links may expire after 7–14 days depending on the platform — please download your files promptly

8. CONFIDENTIALITY

  • All files and images you share with us are treated with complete confidentiality
  • We will never share, sell or distribute your images to any third party
  • We will not use your images in our portfolio or marketing without your explicit written permission
  • Files are deleted from our systems within 30 days of order completion

9. OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT

  • You confirm that you own or have the legal right to use all images submitted to us for editing
  • We do not claim any ownership over your images or the edited versions
  • You are fully responsible for ensuring your images do not infringe the rights of any third party

10. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

  • If you cancel an order before work has begun your deposit will be refunded in full
  • If work has already begun the deposit is non-refundable
  • We do not offer refunds once final files have been delivered
  • If you are unhappy with the result please use your included revision rounds before requesting a refund
  • Refund disputes are handled on a case by case basis at our discretion

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • We are not liable for any loss of business, revenue or data arising from our services
  • Our total liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for that specific order
  • We are not responsible for any technical issues on third-party file sharing platforms

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The latest version will always be available at thepixeledit.com/terms. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
